While these ARE hot shoe covers, they're definitely not the ones in the images or the description.
They do fit, with variable success. The description is correct in that it fit best into D90. With D800 the fit was okay, if a bit too tight. They are not fit well for D500 — tight to the point where I could insert it with a bit of a struggle but couldn't get it out without applying force — definitely don't recommend using it for D500 if you're afraid of damaging the hot shoe.
They actually fit film cameras better; they were a good fit for Olympus OM-10, FED 2, Petri MF-1 and Zenit 12; however, they were too tight for Zenit 19.
My recommendation to the seller: update the listing with correct images and it would be fine.
