Ebony/Rosewood Pipe ThreeTone Professional Hulusi Flute Gourd Flauta Crashproof Flute Hulusi Folk Instrument Calabash Hulusi 2024 - The hulusi arrived in a practical storage/travel case which I really like a lot. I had asked for the crane design on the gourd (since I don't like the other design) and got exactly what I wanted. I'll probably also buy the F Key version once I've really figured out how to blow the hulusi to make a nice and crisp sound. It's quite difficult to find the right air pressure for playing the hulusi (in general, not just this exact one), but I love challenging instruments. The fingering is pretty straight forward, it's almost identical to the recorder.
If you want to get started on a new instrument, I'd totally recommend this product to you.

Good instrument, pretty well finished. The pumpkin is partially protected by a plastic structure that at least reduces the possibility of falling break. The roncons (drones) are tuned, although they will have to be retouched, as normal, and the pointer has a beautiful sound, prettier than a bawu, for my taste, I guess by the influence of the pumpkin. Mine is Ebony and the pumpkin is engraved with the garza drawing. Although I would prefer it without drawing, I have to say it's pretty good. The case, very good, as it usually is in instruments already a good thing.
