They are very dark. You could use them for both purple and blue sets. I know it's supposed to be blue but some lighting makes it appear purple. Super cute, I love the color. This item took almost 3 months to arrive. These are so cute, I have now purchased almost all the colors but 2. I reccomend but if you are a nail tech, you will probably need 2 or 3. The bag isn't full.
